UGH...

OK, so Scott Walker is trying to pass a bill, and our school is trying to pass as stupid!  today, we had students going outside to "protest" budget cuts, and they ended up just leaving school, not protesting, and not knowing what they were protesting.  to view my note on facebook, click here.  also, the democrats did not show up to the senate vote today, making a vote impossible.  the headline in the Journal Sentinel was "Walker calls for Senate Democrats to end boycott", and the first line of the article is "In a drama drawing national attention, law enforcement officers are searching for Democratic senators boycotting a Senate vote on Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair plan Thursday in an attempt to bring the lawmakers to the floor to allow Republicans to act on the bill."  oh i love the wisconsin way of doing things... well, i gotta go do my homework, so BYE!!!!

Are crossbows SERIOUSLY ILLEGAL?!

So i was talking to my friends about maybe seeing if i could get a crossbow at some point, and they told me that it was illegal to own a crossbow in the US.  Now i am definitely going to look into this, because i am sure that this would violate our second amendment rights.  now, depending on their logic and reasoning, i might end up agreeing with whoever made the law! but only if it is REALLY logical logic!  well, i'm gonna go play a game of some sort, do something, you know, stuff. so until next time, BYE!

My mom might be mad at me if i go deaf...

Ok, so my mom gave me her old headphones with EXTREMELY good audio quality, and now i'm blasting them in my ears, and i'm pretty sure that if i do this for long enough i'll blow my eardrums out before the headphones! hmmm... maybe i  should get some skullcandy earmuff headphones? those might not kill my hearing as quickly, but it's inevitable!  hmmm... or i could just keep these, save up for an itouch, and blast music without my mommy knowing!  well, i gotta go eat some dinners, so BYE!!!

Yes, i finally got my compute back, and now i'm enjoying pandorafication (yes, its a real word according to me!) and facebooking!  oh i'm so happy that i can overload my mind with awesomeness! lol unfortunately, i cannot blast pandora because the lyrics are explicit, and my mom would be mad about that, HOW LOW CAN YOU GO? HOW LO CAN YOU GO? HOW LOW CAN YOU GO? lol sorry, it was playing, and i couldn't help it! well, i gtg so BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The highwayman came riding...

The Highwayman - Alfred Noyes

The wind was a torrent of darkness upon the gusty trees,
The moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas,
The road was a ribbon of moonlight looping the purple moor,
And the highwayman came riding--
Riding--riding--
The highwayman came riding, up to the old inn door.

He'd a French cocked hat on his forehead, and a bunch of lace at his chin;
He'd a coat of the claret velvet, and breeches of fine doe-skin.
They fitted with never a wrinkle; his boots were up to his thigh!
And he rode with a jeweled twinkle--
His rapier hilt a-twinkle--
His pistol butts a-twinkle, under the jeweled sky.

Over the cobbles he clattered and clashed in the dark inn-yard,
He tapped with his whip on the shutters, but all was locked and barred,
He whistled a tune to the window, and who should be waiting there
But the landlord's black-eyed daughter--
Bess, the landlord's daughter--
Plaiting a dark red love-knot into her long black hair.

Dark in the dark old inn-yard a stable-wicket creaked
Where Tim, the ostler listened--his face was white and peaked--
His eyes were hollows of madness, his hair like mouldy hay,
But he loved the landlord's daughter--
The landlord's black-eyed daughter;
Dumb as a dog he listened, and he heard the robber say:

"One kiss, my bonny sweetheart; I'm after a prize tonight,
But I shall be back with the yellow gold before the morning light.
Yet if they press me sharply, and harry me through the day,
Then look for me by moonlight,
Watch for me by moonlight,
I'll come to thee by moonlight, though hell should bar the way."

He stood upright in the stirrups; he scarce could reach her hand,
But she loosened her hair in the casement! His face burnt like a brand
As the sweet black waves of perfume came tumbling o'er his breast,
Then he kissed its waves in the moonlight
(O sweet black waves in the moonlight!),
And he tugged at his reins in the moonlight, and galloped away to the west.

He did not come in the dawning; he did not come at noon.
And out of the tawny sunset, before the rise of the moon,
When the road was a gypsy's ribbon over the purple moor,
The redcoat troops came marching--
Marching--marching--
King George's men came marching, up to the old inn-door.

They said no word to the landlord; they drank his ale instead,
But they gagged his daughter and bound her to the foot of her narrow bed.
Two of them knelt at her casement, with muskets by their side;
There was Death at every window,
And Hell at one dark window,
For Bess could see, through her casement, the road that he would ride.

They had bound her up at attention, with many a sniggering jest!
They had tied a rifle beside her, with the barrel beneath her breast!
"Now keep good watch!" and they kissed her. She heard the dead man say,
"Look for me by moonlight,
Watch for me by moonlight,
I'll come to thee by moonlight, though Hell should bar the way."

She twisted her hands behind her, but all the knots held good!
She writhed her hands till her fingers were wet with sweat or blood!
They stretched and strained in the darkness, and the hours crawled by like years,
Till, on the stroke of midnight,
Cold on the stroke of midnight,
The tip of one finger touched it! The trigger at least was hers!
The tip of one finger touched it, she strove no more for the rest;

Up, she stood up at attention, with the barrel beneath her breast.
She would not risk their hearing, she would not strive again,
For the road lay bare in the moonlight,
Blank and bare in the moonlight,
And the blood in her veins, in the moonlight, throbbed to her love's refrain.

Tlot tlot, tlot tlot! Had they heard it? The horse-hooves, ringing clear;
Tlot tlot, tlot tlot, in the distance! Were they deaf that they did not hear?
Down the ribbon of moonlight, over the brow of the hill,
The highwayman came riding--
Riding--riding--
The redcoats looked to their priming! She stood up straight and still.

Tlot tlot, in the frosty silence! Tlot tlot, in the echoing night!
Nearer he came and nearer! Her face was like a light!
Her eyes grew wide for a moment, she drew one last deep breath,
Then her finger moved in the moonlight--
Her musket shattered the moonlight--
Shattered her breast in the moonlight and warned him--with her death.
He turned, he spurred to the West; he did not know who stood
Bowed, with her head o'er the casement, drenched in her own red blood!
Not till the dawn did he hear it, and his face grew grey to hear
How Bess, the landlord's daughter,
The landlord's black-eyed daughter,
Had watched for her love in the moonlight, and died in the darkness there.

Back, he spurred like a madman, shrieking a curse to the sky,
With the white road smoking behind him and his rapier brandished high!
Blood-red were his spurs in the golden noon, wine-red was his velvet coat
When they shot him down in the highway,
Down like a dog in the highway,
And he lay in his blood in the highway, with the bunch of lace at his throat.

And still on a winter's night, they say, when the wind is in the trees,
When the moon is a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas,
When the road is a gypsy's ribbon looping the purple moor,
The highwayman comes riding--
Riding--riding--
The highwayman comes riding, up to the old inn-door.

Over the cobbles he clatters and clangs in the dark inn-yard,
He taps with his whip on the shutters, but all is locked and barred,
He whistles a tune to the window, and who should be waiting there
But the landlord's black-eyed daughter--
Bess, the landlord's daughter--
Plaiting a dark red love-knot into her long black hair.

Wow...

Ok, I think i did pretty good on my english speech, but i COULDN'T STOP STUTTERING!!!!  like seriously, it was almost impossible for me to finish a thought without stuttering.  lately, this has become a problem for me, just like seeing and hearing things that aren't there and being even more bipolar than i already was!  well, at least i have music, seminormal high school drama, and friends to hold me up when i'm falling.  I've decided to see the world as a glass half-full (which is grammatically incorrect, seeing as the word "full" is an absolute adjective), and it's made a big difference!  HOORAY FOR POSITIVITY!!!!! well, i gotta do homework, so BYE!!!

I Do Believe "Thank You's" Are In Order!

Okay, so I told yall about how angry, sad and frustrated i was when Fay dumped me.  Well, thank you Fay, for inspiring me to write down my thoughts in the form of poetry!  To Jessica, thank you for being the best friend i could hope for!  To Lorence, thank you for tolerating, encouraging, and laughing at my insanity!  To Gabe, thank you for helping me realize why i really picked on you!  To Isaiah, thank you for just being awesome, and never blowing stuff out of proportion!  To Katie, thank you for helping keep me on the right track!  To Beni, thank you for helping me get through the crazy things going on in my life!  To Rachel and Kelsey (because they are always together like siamese twins!), thanks for showing me how to have fun and relax!  To Sergio, thanks for teaching me(the hard way) how to take a hit!  To all the people who have made fun of me for being wierd, thank you for that complement!  This is my list of people who i would currently like to thank, and it just keeps growing and growing!!!!!!!  So for now, BYE!!!!!!

GRRRRRR!!!!!!

I am so pissed right now!  partially because, no matter what, my dad never fails to miss a "please don't talk to me, i'm obviously feeling antisocial!" cue, and thus tries to talk to me!  my parents have been totally blind lately, not at all looking at the fact that maybe if they wouldn't bug me about getting homework done, i might actually get some homework done!  I realize that i haven't blogged in a while, and this is because i was/am grounded, and i'm taking a break from geometry for about 5 minutes!  well, i need to get back to work, so for now, BYE!!!!

I AM GETTING A NETBOOK!!!!!!!!!!

I just did some reasearch, and found out that Costco is selling a relatively nice netbook with a case for (with tax) $266.66!  i counted my money and i already have about $160 of this!  I'm so excited!!!  It's got everything i need, seeing as i keep all my files on my flash drive and  my desktop, and don't need a huge amount of memory! oh and yesterday i talked about sending in one of my poems to a magazine, and decided to send it to Teen Ink via web upload.  ugh my dad is being mean, so i gtg now :-(

Deppressing = Good?!

Today, i was writing a poem at the lunch table, because its a good way to vent my emotions.  a lot more positive than breaking things and/or people!  It was a pretty depressing poem, but all my friends thought it was good!  one of them said that i should publish a collection of poems on the Internet, or send one or two in to a magazine in hopes that they will be published.  at first i thought it was a stupid idea, but as i mulled it over in my mind, i realized that the worst thing that would happen would be that i wasted 43 cents on a stamp (which my dad paid for), so I'm going to find a magazine, mail in a poem, and hope for the best!  if anyone knows any good magazines, that would be really helpful!  well, I'm gonna go do stuff, so BYE!!!!

UGH!!! MY BRAIN HURTS!!!!

So after getting home, i had very little time to write, but now that school is back, i can get back to a regular blogging schedule! and yes, my brain hurts, and in fact has been (metaphorically) split in two!  one side says, "Move on from Fay, you know that Morgan likes you!"  the other side says, "How can you move on, she was your world!"  both sides are screaming at me, and it is making my head hurt!  thus, i ask you, the person reading, what should i do?  i'm really confused, and need your help!  oh, and i am putting together a compilation of poems and doodles into a little mini-book-thing.  other than the dilemma above, i don't have much to write about for now, so BYE!!!!
